Home Page Use the form below to search for documents on the CER Website containing specific words or combinations of words. The text search engine will display a weighted list of matching documents, with better matches shown first. Each list item is a link to a matching document. A brief explanation of the query language is provided below, along with examples and helpful hints.
The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:
- education reform
- finds documents containing 'education' or 'reform'
- education or reform
- same as above
- education and reform
- finds documents containing both 'education' and 'reform'
- education not reform
- finds documents containing 'education' but not 'reform'
- "education reform"
- finds documents containing the exact phrase "education reform"
- (education not reform) and grassroots
- finds documents containing 'grassroots', plus 'education' but not 'reform'
- educat*
- finds documents containing words starting with 'educat'
To find the most recent documents, or documents from a specific time frame, include a year (most, if not all, of the document on the CER website include a year, and often a month as well):
