Sarah Lamson is the assistant to The Center for Education Reform’s Founder and CEO, Jeanne Allen. After graduating from Texas A&M University in May of 2017, Sarah navigated her way into the education sphere, first working for Project Transformation in Dallas, Texas, a non-profit that helps children from low-income communities improve their literacy, social-emotional, and spiritual development. Sarah managed Project Transformation’s leadership curriculum for their high school volunteers, guided them in planning community service projects, and planned an 8-week Summer day-camp and one-week college tour for high school youth. Following Project Transformation, Sarah transitioned from Texas to the nation’s Capital as a Government Relations intern for Washington Partners, LLC, a lobbying firm that specializes in education policy. After her internship, she joined CER’s team as an Administrative Assistant. Since, Sarah has interacted closely with the Center’s development, policy and communications teams, helping to ensure that educational opportunities are expanded and obtainable for all students at all levels.
