Stephanie Heishman is Business Development Director for The Center for Education Reform. Over the course of her career, she has leveraged relationships with key corporate players, business executives, donors, and board members for dozens of organizations, successfully increasing and diversifying revenue streams and building partnerships that are still successful today. She is also the Principal and Founder of Freya, a consulting practice she started in 2014, to guide organizations on how best to share their story and grow their brand to win successful partnerships. With nearly 20 years experience, Stephanie’s network spans across education, environmental, allied health and advocacy industries including nonprofits, startups, for profit businesses and national associations. Stephanie began her career in 2001 as a junior staffer at CER, eventually working to create CER’s first-ever development department, where she honed many of her early fundraising and event management skills working alongside Jeanne Allen. She resides in Washington, DC and is originally from Iowa, holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.
