If I had a hammer

hammer

(a folk song for DC school choice)

If I had a hammer

I’d hammer in the morning

I’d hammer in the evening

All over this land

I’d hammer out danger

I’d hammer out a warning

I’d hammer out love between my brothers and my sisters

All over this land

I believe these stories are mostly a bunch of junk–Obama and Arne are not interested in real education and for that matter neither are Peter, Paul and Mary the song by them that you use to highlight these stories of the DC Voucher program’s demise. Unless the curriculum changes and parents get education that they want–real history, real reading, real math, real science, etc.–public education will continue to be indoctrination. We must have private schools to give parents what they want, if we want our country to survive.
