Mayor Eric Adams to Join Celebrants
As $1 Million Yass Prize and Millions More Are Awarded to Top U.S. Educators

WHAT: Eric L. Adams, 110th Mayor of New York City, will be among the presenters tonight, December 14th, when the 2022 Yass Prize for Transformational Education is presented at the New York Hilton. The Yass Prize, given annually to the country’s most effective education innovator, carries with it a $1 million award.

The 2022 competition attracted applications from some 2,700 organizations from 49 states, including public schools, private schools, charter schools, micro-schools, learning pods, organizations providing hybrid- and personalized-learning arrangements, and education technology companies.
