California

Governor

Governor-Elect Gavin Newsom (D)

Lt. Governor, now Governor elect Gavin Newsom seems tone-deaf to the glaring deficiencies of today’s education zeitgeist. Hopefully California’s continuous falling test scores will convince him to take a better look at alternatives to the failing current system. He was Mayor of San Francisco, a city that now hands out “poop maps” to visitors and citizens so they can avoid areas of the city where the streets are infested with feces. Here’s hoping he wises up to the need for changes in education before the school systems also require an achievement poop map for parents.
