Governor

Governor-Elect Ned Lamont (D)

Hopefully the slender margin of businessman Ned Lamont’s win with less than 50% of the vote will make him open to changing his current hostility to new approaches in education. He need look no further than his own business experience for guidance.  His website says: “His driving idea was a simple but revolutionary one: a better product at a lower price, with a commitment to put the needs of his customers first.” A better product at a lower price while putting the needs of customers first is a perfect description of what happens with educational change, opportunity and innovation.  We will do our best to point this out to Governor Lamont.
