Caroline Allen is the Chief Program Officer at CER, leading the charge on all aspects of programming and overseeing the strategic planning and execution of major content and impact initiatives. Prior to this role, Caroline was the Vice President of the Yass Prize, which identified and supported education providers that deliver a sustainable, transformational, outstanding, and permissionless education for students. Through this initiative, unprecedented partnerships were fostered that accelerated impact and urgency across sectors. Caroline spent eight years in the classroom, teaching Special Education and elementary general education in Massachusetts, including at the nationally recognized Brooke Charter School. She also has extensive experience in the areas of professional development, teacher coaching, strategic vision planning and differentiation. Caroline received her undergraduate and Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
