About debates
In June 2005, Legal Affairs approached Alliance for School Choice president Clint Bolick about participating in an online debate on school choice. We found the resulting week-long exchange so interesting that we decided to offer a similar feature here on Edspresso. In this section, you’ll find one-on-one debates on a wide range of issues related to education reform.
The first debate will involve analysts from two major think tanks, Neal McCluskey from the Cato Institute and Michael J. Petrilli from the Fordham Foundation, on national standards in education.
