States are the most important driver in whether we #FundFamilies, or failure. Laws and policies that offer a wide variety of education opportunities to students, public, private, charter, microschool or whatever were better able to adapt to Covid and any challenges along the way. Use Espinoza’s Sword

Many states have permitted 150 year old Constitutional provisions to prevent the adoption of laws where money follows kids to the schools of their choice. In June, 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court affirmed the right of parents to direct the education of their children. The case, Espinoza vs Montana Department of Revenue paved the way for more options for students, if states will take up the sword given them by the Court decision.  States will have to take some action to do so.
