Governor Scott Walker’s loss may have been the saddest news of the election. He was a stalwart champion and we wish him Godspeed in whatever he does next. His successor, Education Superintendent Tony Evers, did accept a federal grant to expand charter schools. That said, his education platform was a rehash of current education clichés. Happily there the pro-educational choice majority in both legislative houses should provide a buffer for the many education innovations that Governor Walker initiated.
